After a year and a half of silence , Square Enix and PlatinumGames finally showed off Bablyon's Fall once more. It seems to be pretty on-brand when it comes to PlatinumGames action, though it does have a cool fantasy setting. Its visuals have also been created with a "Brushwork Filter ." We will apparently get more information on the game in Summer 2
2010's post-apocalyptic first person shooter Rage saw mixed reception at its release, which makes the forthcoming follow-up's considerable presence and surrounding buzz that much more impressive. The near-universally positive response to Rage 2 's wild trailer is a testament to the developers' passion for the project, a duo made up by id Software and Avalanche Studios. Predictably, the game will be an open world, first-person run-and-gun affair. Nonetheless, the trailer couldn't have done a better job making Rage 2 look ridiculously
Sony's final State of Play for 2019 featured several new and interesting trailers, some of which are brand new announcements. The show took place quite early and went by quite fast, but we have rounded up the coolest announcements for you in case you missed
Developed by the team behind Assasin's Creed Odyssey, Gods & Monsters is Ubisoft's answer to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild , a game that greatly influences this one. Set on the Isle of the Blessed, Gods & Monsters is an open-world action-adventure game complete with unique trials and puzzles, dungeons to explore, and legendary quests to undertake. It was originally supposed to release first, on February 25, 2020, but it has also been pushed back. It seems likely that this will release first in the new schedule, but there will likely be more distance between it and Watch Dogs Legion . That said, until Ubisoft confirms the new release dates, there's no way of knowing when Gods & Monsters will d
The second of EA’s promised upcoming releases is "a new title in our Plants vs. Zombies shooter franchise," which seemingly indicates a third Garden Warfare set to launch sometime in the next nine months. While there has not been an official confirmation that this title will not be shown at E3 2019 in some capacity, EA’s abandoning of their usual press conference and the title’s lack of inclusion in the EA Play streaming schedule all but establishes that their latest class-based shooter is not ready for primetime just yet.
When it comes to waiting just a little longer for these games, it's best to remember the words of Shigeru Miyamoto: "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad." Hopefully, that proves to be the case for each of these ga
Delays are inevitable in the gaming industry. While this sometimes upsets players, it's a necessary reality because a lot of work goes into game development, and it forces the choice of a compromised release or a slightly disappointing delay. October 24 is an interesting day, however, as not only 1 or 2 major games received delays, but 5 of the most anticipated games of 2020 have been pushed back, including The Last of Us
One of the most shocking announcements in gaming news last year came in mid-November, when Sony dropped the bombshell that they would not be attending the following year’s E3 in any capacity. With no press conference or space-consuming booth on the floor, PS4 owners will have to continue waiting for updates on Ghost of Tsushima Secrets|https://tsushimalegend.com/ of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part II, Concrete Genie and the rest of Sony’s first-party lineup.
Back in January, Nintendo shared an update on the return of the Metroid Prime franchise for the first time since its brief announcement at E3 2017, sharing that Bandai Namco would no longer be working on the fourth entry and that development of the latest entry would be fully restarted and instead handled by the series’ original owners, Retro Studios. Although Nintendo has not directly stated that Metroid Prime 4 will not show up at E3 this year, the publisher’s usual preference for focusing on titles releasing in the same year, alongside the development of the title having only truly started less than five months ago, seems to indicate that the chances of the sci-fi shooter appearing at this year’s E3 are slim to none.
Things take a dark turn immediately afterward and we get our first glimpse of gameplay, which forcefully reaffirms the project's focus on horror and violence. Ellie is seen sneaking around a campsite and through a deteriorating structure before engaging in a lopsided battle with several determined killers. The combat appears a solid progression from the studio's previous work, boasting effortlessly fluid hand-to-hand and armed conflict. While Joel will be missed , we can't wait to jump back into The Last of Us world as our favorite post-apocalyptic hero
A magical battle royale game called Spellbreak was also shown off during State of Play. It seems to be very exhilarating, though it remains to be seen if Proletariat's battle royale will be able to break into the crowded genre. We will be able to play Spellbreak's Closed Beta in Spring 2
