Fox also mentioned in a follow-up group Q&A that they have spent a lot of time attempting to find a way to do justice to the samurai and people who suffered during the real-life Mongol invasions of Japan in the late 13th century. However, Ghost of Tsushima , while based on a real invasion, is a fictionalized story - and the names of all the samurai in the game have had their names changed in order to honor those that died on the beaches during the Mongolian invas

PlayStation's 11-minute Ghost of Tsushima demo whet the appetites of those who were already excited for the PS4 exclusive and undoubtedly lured in a few new fans too. Gamers are hoping for more details at the upcoming PlayStation Experience, and who knows, maybe fans will get to see that Japanese audio track in action? Whether dipping in and out of playing in English or Japanese, Ghost of Tsushima is at least living up to Sucker Punch's ambitions to create a samurai-swinging, Mongol-mashing experience that is visually and audibly uni

Fast forward about six months after the PS4 released and Sony announced during E3 2014 that The Last of Us Remastered would be hitting the console in one month. It was a move many anticipated before the PS4's launch, but one that also left a sour taste in some's mouths. Sony was now giving us the "better" version of the game instead of holding back the initial release to coincide with its next-gen launch. Was the game simply not ready for the PS4 in November, or did Sony know it could get away with charging tw

Sucker Punch Productions officially unveiled their latest game, Ghost of Tsushima , during Sony PlayStation's E3 2018 press conference, giving consumers their first look into a brand new open world game set in feudal Japan. Open world games have somewhat stagnated in recent years, but that's something that the developers behind beloved game franchises such as inFAMOUS and Sly Cooper are looking to change with their new title, which will eventually release exclusively on the PlayStatio

The Bethesda showcase finally revealed everything we needed to know about the game and boy, does it look like a ton of fun. Everything from the Virginia setting, the retro power armor, and the deployable nuclear weapons makes this multiplayer focused title look like a fun sandbox to expl

Beating hopes that the long-running Assassin's Creed series would eventually have a game in Japan, Ghost Of Tsushima Tips|Https://Tsushimalegend.Com/ of Tsushima is taking its premise further than most studios have. Sucker Punch's upcoming title has already been dubbed a time machine, which combined with its open-world gameplay, must've been a massive challenge for developers. An audio scout was even sent to modern Japan to capture background noises for the game for another layer of authenticity, so a Japanese audio track makes perfect se

It'll be interesting to see what path Sony takes, but for now, bets are on Ghost of Tsushima seeing some kind of PS5 support. Sony would be crazy to ignore the huge install base of PS4's (currently sitting at 100 million+ consoles), but it also needs to have something big for when the PS5 rolls around. What better than Ghost of Tsushima , a game we still don't know much ab

GT3.jpgCombat will be another feature from Ghost of Tsushima that I'll be looking forward to hopefully seeing at this year's E3. There's yet to be a modern game that takes on third-person cinematic samurai combat effectively. Some might argue that Nioh tried this to an extent but, in my opinion, it doesn't really raise the bar in any sort of way. I'm hoping that players will be able to really take control of the way they play Ghost of Tsushima. What I mean by that is I want to be able to go into battles head-on or take things from a stealthier approach. I've had countless discussions in the past with other gamers about Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed series missing a game that takes place in Japan, and that series is a good example of one that perfectly blends both action and stealth together. I hope that players will feel rewarded by approaching combat in Ghost of Tsushima however they see

That being said, there already those who are complaining about the addition of Japanese. Some say it will pull them out of the game by having to read subtitles in the middle of the ambitious sandbox. Either way, no one is forcing anyone to play Ghost of Tsushima in Japanese and it is a great variation to have. The logistical challenge of transcribing an entire game into Japanese is just another way of highlighting the lengths that Fox and his team have gone to in covering every little detail of Ghost of Tsushi

Jostling for the top spot of E3's next-gen games, the likes of Ghost of Tsushima , The Last of Us Part II and Shadow of the Tomb Raider had players and professionals staring in awe at their frankly amazing graphics. Although Ghost was undoubtedly a beautiful game that showed the realism of decapitating marauding Mongolians, the E3 trailer did pull criticism for its use of an English language track. Thankfully, it turns out that this is only one of the audio opti
